I remember finishing high school hiding my stutter. I only spoke when I knew I was in a phase of reasonable fluency, and here's something that goes against what everyone is saying in the comments: I was happier living like that than I am today 'trying' to accept my stutter. For those of us who feel deep down that communication is one of the most important parts of life, it's very hard to accept stuttering and have social interactions where you feel like a burden, and you can't even enjoy yourself as you were supposed to when accepting the stutter. But understand that time changes your mindset. You won’t have the same mindset next year, for example. But if you ever find a way out of your doubts and struggles, let us know someday
