I agree, other than the fact that your situation let's you hide your stutter easier in the outside world if you so choose. I think having an easier time with strangers would be a great opportunity to still show yourself as a person who stutters to them without the fear of getting into severe disfluencies. Then again if you're happy and comfortable then carry on.
