When my son was a teenager I violated his privacy because he was making a poor choice. To say he was angry with me would be the understatement of the history of Reddit. I sat him down and explained to him that as his father there is nothing I wouldn’t do to protect him. I wasn’t his friend. Your Mom is your Mom, not a friend. I’d bet anything, Anything, that she is doing what you need out of love for you. And 100% keep your head up. As a fellow stutterer it’s going to be a tough road, But it will teach you lessons and make you strong. A few decades from now you’ll understand what I’m saying
