What a great idea. I lucked-out and married a wonderful man who fully accepted me and was never embarrassed to introduce me to his career officer friends. I stuttered from early childhood, but through psychotherapy, dealing with my abusive childhood, I fully recovered at age 70. My stutter was mild-moderate after childhood and high school, but enough to affect my self esteem and concern me about a career after university. Fortunately I was able to be a full time wife and mother, but I always felt my stuttering would restrict me in the professional world. I agree with you that stutterers would be more empathetic toward each other. Dating is always difficult but when people share commonalities there can be an instant bond. Please follow up on your idea. Your tech skills would be a great asset. Best wishes, Sue
