Yeah your right if they have the same qualifications and similar work experience, why would someone hire someone with a stutter for example in a sales/customer service role. If I could hide my stutter I would but thats not the case for me. They will 100% notice my stutter and may be surprised so I just tell them upfront beforehand. For some people it helps relieve anxiety and calms them down before an interview. I'm sure a lot of people have opened up about their stutter and have been successful in finding jobs. However it may not be the same for everyone.
