My advice is to quit seeing yourself as someone who needs to be fixed. We speak different, but we are not broken. Once you accept the way you speak as part of who you are, then others will begin to accept it too. And as far as having more friends if you didn’t stutter... If they won’t be your friends because you stutter, then you didn’t want them as friends anyway.
