1. What caused your stutter? Was there a (traumatic) trigger, or did you develop it from birth/childhood—or even at random? Nothing caused it. I dont think stutters are caused. (I cant speak for everybody though). Mine has just always been there. 2. What syllables/letters/phrases do you have particular trouble with? I have never really thought about it. I struggle to say Italy, thats the only one I know of that is consistant. Luckily I dont live in Italy so it's not usually a problem. 3. Are there times where stuttering gets worse? Maybe around strangers/uncomfortable environments? On the other hand, are there things that help with your stuttering? When stressed or run down. I find I am less likely to do it with strangers actually. 4. What’s it like living with a stutter? Fine. I guess I could be called a functioning stutterer though. It's there, everybody is aware of it but I dont let it get to me and mine is not as bad as some I have seen. It can be frustrating at times because people who dont know just assume you are stupid or something (worse as I am absolutely not!) but people deal with all manner of issues so I tend to think its not ideal, could be betterm could be worse. I was lucky in school, never really got any abuse for it, I was always a big guy though so I dont know if that stopped any of it.
