Talking increases blood pressure and heart rate.
Content
Talking increases blood pressure and heart rate. Has anyone else noticed that their heart rate increases quite a bit when talking? I was talking to a family member yesterday, I've known this person my whole life so I wasn't nervous, anxious, scared or anything, it was just a normal conversation. They mentioned that they had purchased a blood pressure monitor so I measured mine (while the monitor was doing its thing I noticed I was slightly out of breath too) and got a reading of about 160/105 and 104 pulse which for me is really high, I measured it again just before writing this and it was 122/68 and 72 pulse.
