Dude I'm also 16M and I can guarantee you won't die alone. I'm shy but I used to be even more shy and even though I still stutter (especially in class) it gets better. I try not to let it hold me back too much, people notice that. I just try to be confident (often failing) but I still try and try. The more you seem the care about your stutter the more others will too. I thought I'd never talk to Girls too last year but I was very wrong. I really improved talking to friends and girls and it payed off. What helped me is just forcing myself to be social and act confident since exposure is often a good thing once you get passed the awkwardness. Try and talk to more people step by step. It'll take a while but if I can do it you can too. Take care bro.
