I totally feel this way too, a bit like a blind man who would have developed stronger other senses haha. Sometimes I find it crazy how people are bad listeners, even among my friends. However, I think it is more the case with people I am already at ease with. When I’m with people I don’t know, I’m sometimes so concerned about what will happen when it will be my turn to talk (for instance, if someone asks my name - my worst fear), that I’m no more focused on listening.
