I don't know what religious tradition you're coming from, but I've always found Paul's story of the thorn in his flesh resonant to my own stutter. A decent chunk of the Psalms are unanswered pleas to God: "why is this happening, and why won't you save me?" The experience of suffering is affirmed throughout Scripture, frequently without "easy" answers. If I'm having a hard time of things, at least I can be assured that I'm in good company. That all said, if your stutter is that much of a burden to you, seek out help. Speech therapy (or even regular) therapy can be helpful. No, your stutter probably isn't going away, but it doesn't need to run your life either.
