I never used to have a problem with that method, then in college there was an unfortunate sort of awakening whereby I began to see (on a conscious level!) how it impacted certain situations, like watching girls losing interest in realtime right before my eyes as I stutter while speaking to them, the potential for awkward social dynamics, things of the like. They've just made me detrimentally more conscious of it and self consiocus as a whole. I'm 25 now, wading through the process of rebuilding that confidence you allude to. Thanks for the advice dude
