Why isn't there a cure for stuttering?

Why isn't there a cure for stuttering? I'm 17 and this mental problem has impaired my ability to communicate and socialize without having any blocks or pauses in my speech. I'm just mentally fucked in the head! I have severe Social anxiety, i also have Poor social skills because of this stuttering disease! why isn't there a cure for this? I want to be a normal teenager just like the rest of them.
