I'm not for this. I don't think a national awareness campaign has anything to do with anything. I don't care if people have no clue about it, it's not my business to tell them about anything. I'm living my life with a stutter and if someone doesn't understand it (so far everybody has been super nice with me) i'll gladly explain to them. In the case of boys at school or college, you should not be afraid to stutter man. This is hard because we always want to hide our weaknesses but by doing that we ultimately make it worse. I stopped hiding it a long time ago and i happen to stutter less now because of it. I'm confident in my own skin and i don't need everyone's seal of approval or pity. But that's just my libertarian ass speaking, what do i know.
