Sorry for bad English. ​ I don't know what it is with history teachers but i kind of have a similar story. I have a very severe stutter to the point that i take up to 30 40 sec to utter one word just to be stuck on the next. Anyways we had class participation marks which i had no problem giving up. I just told her I wont be participating. ​ But in our course's final project, we had to prepare a big report of like 25-30 pages and present it in groups. I talked to her beforehand that i won't be able to present and she agreed that she'll give me some marks based on the written report and my groups performance. I worked my ass off on that project and on presentation day, my group partners went on stage and presented. Later on after the final exams, she marked our projects and I was given 0 marks (Project had a huge chunk in the overall marks and grade). I emailed her about our agreement and she said that i didn't even try to do anything. Atleast you should've worn a suit (presentation was formal but i already talked to her that i wouldn't present so i went casually) and tried to speak(she didn't tell me to do those things. She agreed when i told her i wouldn't be presenting). We exchanged a couple of emails but she didn't budge. She's known to be the worst teacher in our university. I couldn't report it as well coz our agreement was verbal. Ended up getting a very low (almost failing) grade on the course that cost me my name in dean's list and a medal that semester. Fuck these teachers.
