Be truthful. Many of us have a tendency to try and skirt around our stutter. Avoiding the topic or trying to conceal your disfluency can be misinterpreted. I'm not suggesting that you have to make your stutter a topic of the interview. I found the best approach was to turn your stutter into a strength when I had a disfluency during an interview. You know, when the interviewer inevitably told me relax or something along that lines. I explain that I grew up with a severe stutter and that I still have the occasional disfluency. This demonstrates a strength of character for you to be able to acknowledge your challenges and how you overcame them.
