Stuttering when people show me subtle or direct disrespect/impoliteness. I have stopped stuttering for the most part, but there are still some scenarios where I do stutter. When someone is being disrespectful or impolite to me, I start to stutter. And it's frustrating because I know that I'm right but when I stutter it might come across as me being unsure of my statements. Also do any of you guys get like heart palpatations or just really anxious when you stutter? I get that. And I even get it if it's like an online/virtual insult. I have no problem with disagreeing with people or telling them they're doing something wrong at work by the way. It's just that when someone uses unnecessary words or insults I feel like I'm back to being the loser in middle school again. Even though I did nothing wrong. Anyone who overcame this?
