I was interviewing at a top law firm. Blocked a few times due to stress and nerves. Partner who interviewed me later said to my friend, another partner at the firm, “I hope it was her internet cutting out and not a stutter because we don’t hire people that stutter.” My friend told me thinking I would find it hilarious because he has no idea I have a stutter and he assured me that he told the other partner that I definitely don’t stutter. Fuck that firm. I’m now at another firm where I am very happy so it all worked out but I’ll forever hold a grudge and will have my revenge when I am at the top of our field lol.
