that's great. you seem very determined to overcome what you have learnt to believe about yourself over the years, it's inspiring. I have a face that I want to present to the world, and there is dissonance between this face and the reality of my stutter. Because of childhood bullying and just a lifetime of negative experiences from verbal interaction, I have learnt to believe that it is a severe defect, and something to be ashamed of. I very much want to overcome these beliefs, but the pathways of thinking are just so engrained.
