I just hit 30 and I still have my stutter. Some days are bad, some days are fine. I have a really successful career in IT but I was just like you at one point. I think the turning point for me was when I was around your age. It dawned on me that this isn’t going anywhere and I did a lot of confidence boosting activities like martial arts, fitness, and even started doing a sales job for a while. Forcing myself to earn money by communicating really increased my confidence and I think that helped give me more control over my fluency. I still stutter on a daily basis but having that little piece of self awareness really changed my situation for the better. Hope this help, here to chat if you need it.
