I think older generations aren’t sad about it because they had to face theirs head one. They didn’t have stuff like text messages, online shopping, just eat, self serving kiosks. If they wanted anything, they had to ask for it. Fast forward to now, we have so many services that allow us not to say a single word to anything. I think everyone is going to be more socially anxiety these days because of the lack of interaction but since we have a stutter, it makes things ten times worse. Younger people with stutters need to break out of the comfort zone from time to time and speak to people. It’s the only real way of getting better. This is my opinion and experiences so i could be wrong
