Hmm I think if spoken to, I’m super open try to engage with the person as much as possible and try not to close down the conversation prematurely and ask follow up questions. Often times at a gathering I’ll at least say hello to people I already know who are there. I think how open you are at a gathering will depend on how you feel your speech has been lately. if you’ve had good days then you’ll prob be a bit more open. Personally I don’t like being on my phone if it’s just to distract myself. I’d much rather observe the ppl around me or zone out so I can empty my mind.
