You should know this if you went to speech therapy, but accepting one’s stutter is the number one best way to help it lessen and become more fluent ( at least that’s what my speech therapist said ). Also the reason I think people say there is no cure is because when you treat something like this as a illness or something that needs to be cured that really makes excepting it as part of one’s self to be hard. Yes, people have gotten rid of their stutters by various means, but that dose not work for everyone. No one is arguing that stuttering is easy, but it’s also not as hard once you realize you are who you are and that’s ok, and that stuttering is just part of you and your story. So just “dealing with it” is really not that bad of a thing.
