Prior military here, recently married, and about to join the work force in Dec after finishing my degree here, so the same experiences as OP. He’s spot on, people are emotional animals, and they tend to pick up one extrudes. To take some from the Stoic philosophy, you control what you control, can’t control others. So control your reaction to your stuttering. I’m not saying it’s gonna happen overnight, but embrace it (funny enough I’m still in that step but moving in the right direction)
