Content

Devli's advocate here. I think if you want the channel to succeed, you shouldn't really be stuttering. Youtube is an extremely competitive space and you can't give people a chance to stop watching your video. If your videos aren't about stuttering, I don't see the point in keeping it there. One trick that may work is not looking at a screen of yourself while recording. Maybe looking at whatever investment graphic or information you might be talking about. Or maybe have a script that you're reading while recording. I have a mild stutter too and I find that if I'm reading and focusing on the words or on a picture, I stutter less. Either way, find a way to stutter less, then edit out those stutters. You can add in some unedited clips at the end to show some vulnerability, but at the end of the day you don't want your stutter to be the focus of the video. You want your content to be. If you can somehow tie it in, then go for it. Just my two cents. That doesn't mean that you shouldn't be open about your stutter outside of youtube. I just don't think youtube is the place for that.
