It varies, personally I hated being excluded by default in class. Like, sometimes I would have a nice report or a presentation that I would like to share with the class and then the teacher or prof in the university wouldn't call me to speak like everybody else. On the other side, I wasn't bullied so I could stutter freely. So IMHO it would be better to speak to her about it if you can.
