This may not be what you want to hear. I've had mine since 2nd grade, and while I was picked on for it for a year or two, I eventually just became what I was kinda known for in school (that and everyone thought I was one of the super smart kids, which I wasn't fond of, but that's neither here nor there) and it wasn't an issue. Yeah, ordering at Chipotle can suck, and people still finish my sentences and it usually makes me want to strangle them. But that's life. I've just kinda gotten over the fact that some people will give me looks, and some will try and finish my sentences, but the people that really care about you won't care about it at all. I'm in college, majoring in CSD, and plan on eventually researching the condition as a professor at a University. I guess, if I haven't said it very well, that it will dictate your life only as much as you let it. If you make a big deal out of it, it will be a big deal. If you don't, it won't.
