I went to the same doctor and received the same treatment approach twice. Once in my teens. Then again in my 20s. It wasn't terribly effective in my teens. In my 20s I made rapid progress and achieved fluency. I am still fluent today, almost 30 years later. The difference was me. I had to get serious about my treatment. I had to work at it. I had to get my head right. I'll always be a stutterer, but I don't have to stutter.
