One thing that helped me is the soft start for blocking at the start of sentences is. Start every word with a very soft "h" sound under my breath. You can do it so it's undetectable, for exemple if you stutter with "w" sounds Say: hhhhwhat do you want for dinner? But I find anything that makes me think about my stutter makes it worse as mine is directly tied to my anxiety. The very best thing that's helped me reduce my stuttering is working on anxiety reduction around my stutter. The more I can make myself relax and be OK with stuttering, The less I stutter. I started just changing the way I thought about it. I made my self do things that made me uncomfortable like going through the drive through. I Just thought to myself. I'm going to do it and I'm going to stutter but in 5 minutes I will have done it and got what I wanted and it won't have really mattered that I stuttered to anyone else. The more i do things like that and keep the right mindset the less anxious I am and the less I stutter. I've reached a point now I still stutter but I don't really think about it in day to day life. If I do notice it's worse then usual I'll take some time every day to sort of meditate, just sit somewhere quiet and focus on breathing and relaxing. If I do that every day after a few days my stutter starts to go back to normal levels.
