Speech Language Pathologist - Intervention Question Hello, I'm an SLP in the schools. I'm still structuring my lessons for the students who stutter & I wanted to ask what lessons/therapy activities you remember appreciating the most as a child. I'm doing a few lessons on effectively using your voice as a tool for things like severe weather reporting, stand-up comedy, & I'm planning a reflective collage at some point in the school year as well. I'm also planning to surprise them with a movie period where we watch the King's Speech at the end of the school year. We are also doing journals every session. I've thought of introducing a memoir written by someone who stutters, but I haven't found a good one. For modification techniques I'm using the videos from the stuttering association. Any suggestions or things I've missed, would be appreciated. Its a good group & I would really like to try & nail my intervention this year.
