Research states that 1% stutters, 80% outgrow stuttering and 20% continue stuttering. In my opinion: I believe that the number of stutterers are much higher, also the number of people who outgrow stuttering is likely to be much higher and therefore the number of adults who outgrow stuttering is also much higher
