100% this. I've had so many people who are honestly just ignorant to what a real stutter is and the only thing they can compare it to is not even close to what we experience, and they never will. So at that point you really do just kind of have to smile and nod, because even if they *don't* take it the wrong way they still can't fathom it. u/matafubar whoever is getting angry with you for your stutter not resolving itself is foolish and I sincerely hope you in no way blame yourself.
