You say you have continuous months where you don 't stutter. Because you have confidence. You say if you stutter a lot, then it will continue for days, but right before you stutter, what anti-confidence thoughts do you have? My experience of anti-confident thoughts (which causes a stutter expectation) are "I can't say it without stuttering" or "I will stutter" or "I just stutterered now so that's proof I can't do it"? Or do you notice that you have a conditoin in your mind: "My condition is: if I stutter a lot, then it makes sense that I will continue stuttering for days" \[labeling\]\[fabricating prediction\]? Every stutterer is different. If you are in a stage where you stutter a lot, then 1 second before you stutter, ask yourself what thought/feeling triggers my stuttering, now? Analyze how you react to this trigger, observe this trigger and realize that this trigger is what's making 'stuttering' real in your mind. A conditoin or thought is just a thought without judgement or meaning. Once you engage (react) to this thought (trigger) it becomes true or fearful in your mind. You make it less real or fearful in your mind, by not reacting to these triggers.
