Yup. I’m a pretty passionate basketball (most sports) fan. A while ago, I was trying to talk tell my dad how Jayson Tatum (player for the Boston Celtics) was having to use an inhaler before every game, after he recovered from covid (no longer has to, but did for a bit). Anyways, I tried & tried to get “inhaler” out but couldn’t, so ended up just saying “the thing asthmatic people use to breathe”…. Felt so embarrassed, even though no one else was near us, & like I said, my fam is great about it. But I just felt awkward.
