Desensitization technique for stuttering Desensitization is amazing and powerful technique. What is it? We all have developed feared of speaking at many places and conditions because of stuttering, our anxiety shoots up, feeling stress and the world completely change. Desensitization is eliminating this fear and normalizing "speaking with stuttering", we will feel calmness even if we are stuttering. Important thing: fake stutter should not be used to replace actual stutter, If I know I am going get block on train word, I have to deal with it, I can not change that block stutter with repetition stutter. You know you start volunteer controlled stuttering and throw 2 fake stutter in any conversation, you will release you don't get actual stuttering in that conversation, because that anxiety is completely gone.
