It could be a teaching moment. You, the adult and teacher, are the top dog in the classroom. These little kids feel so inept and vulnerable so often, and here you are, the big guy, you’re also human, inept in some things, vulnerable. We’re all vulnerable. We can’t survive unless we help each other, support each other, teach each other, and be buddies and work as a team with each other.
