Thank you very much! I'm glad to be here! I'm 38, a woman, and I'm in the U.S. Nice to meet you! I noticed I made a bunch of typos in that post title (doh!) but I'm interested to see the results. From my previous lurking I saw that someone made a sub for female stutterers, the unicorn of the stutterer world. Out of the 4 people I've met in my life who stuttered, 3 were men and 1 a woman, who's also my mom, and from my own personal research on stuttering it affects men more than women. It would be interesting to see how gender affects the social and personal experience of stuttering. I'm on step 3, I've gotten to step 2 for brief spots but I struggle to maintain the behaviors used to get to that place to make them into habits. I'll look up videos on YouTube, do you have any that you recommend off the top of your head?
