I do stutter sometimes on my own name too. Unfortunately there is no word you could swap out your name with... I try to play it off or just chuckle. People will usually not notice or just smile back. I just try to not make it too obvious that I am embarrassed. I try to go into conversations not anticipating that I’ll stutter. I don’t know if it works completely since I do stutter. What techniques have you tried so far?
