I don’t stutter when I’m around someone else who has any form of speech impediment. Has anyone else experienced this?

I don’t stutter when I’m around someone else who has any form of speech impediment. Has anyone else experienced this? I have noticed in my life that when I am in a group and there is someone else who has a speech impediment on any kind, my speech is 99% better, as well as when I am one of one with someone. Obviously, I feel terrible for this person because I know exactly what they’ve been through, how they feel etc. But for some reason, my speech drastically improves. I have been a lifelong stutterer, except for a period when I spoke fluently when I was 9 and then 21 (don’t ask me how this happened because I honestly don’t know). Has anyone else experienced something similar? Even if not, your thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
