This is a really nice post, it shows you care. I would say the best things to look out for, dont interrupt him when he is stuttering, dont try to finish off words or sentences, and obviously dont get annoyed if he stutters. Also dont make it seem like its an issue or something that will be 'cured' because honestly it wont. Don't view it as an 'issue' but as a quirk.
