I do go to speech therapy to this day and have been for years. My biggest advice would be, take your time to get your techniques correct. I know “take your time” get thrown a lot at us stutterers but what I mean by it is don’t give a care in the world about the listener/listeners. Take all the time you need to breath correctly, take all the time you need to get that first syllable out correctly and take all the time you need to speak slowly at your own pace. I should do this more often but as all stutterers, I get swept in the conversation and forget about this. If I can only remind myself of it, I would be close to fluent as I would ever be.
