This is interesting. I learned German at school for 5 years and at first, I didn't stutter at all when talking or reading out loud in German, but after 1-2 years, I got more used to it and then yes, I started stuttering in German too. I remember the first day it happened, reading out loud in class, and I was really disappointed by it.
