My job requires me to get on a lot of meetings where I need to introduce myself and as someone who stutters while saying his name, I found that I'm most likely to stutter if I had to start with something like "My name is ...." or "I'm......" so the trick for me was to find a way yo comment on anything said before I start my introduction so I can start the convo with a non blocking statement, for example, thank you everyone for this lovely meeting, my name is ....." and continue the conversation. This is what works for me. Also, I have to say it doesn't work all the time but most of the times it works or the block is not that noticeable
