Hi! So for this cashier position they did a group interview which stressed me out, but they ended up hiring everyone on the spot. For interviews for internships- I get really nervous and stressed. But I always explain to the interviewer that I stutter, and I appreciate them being patient with me when I have speech blocks. The previous internships I interviewed for didn’t select me but I’m not sure if it had to do with my stutter. But yea, letting them know you stutter will take A LOT of pressure off becaus now they know why you have a hard time getting words out and don’t assume youre unprepared and careless.
