I actually wasn't so active on reddit before even though I would jump on this place from other websites. Even when I was more active, I joined groups like blender, sports, etc. Even though four to five people in my class started to stutter before I did...I still didn't think many in this world stuttered and I had no idea there would be a sub for stuttering. So, I can't imagine most stutterers who are the only ones who stutter in their entire school or college would imagine a whole sub with so many people who stutter. I do understand the statistics you're trying to point out but many don't understand or aren't aware as such.
