A tip to help stuttering I'm actually quite different than most people when it comes to stuttering. Mine has nothing to do with anxiety but rather breathing. I always run out of breath after a sentence or I always get blocks on the first letter of a sentence. Once I get through that block, I am able to speak freely. I found that a large reason as to why it was happening was that I was speaking too fast. I find that slowing down makes everything flow a lot smoother. I recorded myself in one entire day and I realized that I was talking twice as fast as anyone else. It's a difficult thing to get used to but after 3 years of practice it has helped me tremendously. Marijuana and Alcohol both made me speak slower which is another way that I found out about this. I know most of you have probably tried this already and gave up on it because it wasn't helping. But I've been doing this for 3 hears and I still occasionally stutter. So dont give up and keep practicing.
