Did anyone have trouble making friends due to their stutter?

Did anyone have trouble making friends due to their stutter? Never had any actual friends in school because I couldnt socialize with them due to my stutter.. I'm going to a new school in a English speaking country when it starts so I hope I'll make some actual friends. I'm more fluent in English than my native language
