Online speech therapy I'm interested in starting online speech therapy in English. Obviously there are numerous options and they all come at a significant price since insurance doesn't cover it. Has anyone tried online speech therapy in English? Can you recommend some good enough specialists, or at least advise on those to avoid? I'm not looking for a cure for stuttering, just need an advice on some techniques to help me through tough times, to practice them. In my case, I never know what can work. Once, when I blocked on reading text in class, the teacher asked me to speak louder and slower until I was practically shouting word by word. Magically, the stutter 'disappeared,' and it helped me to be somewhat fluent for months. I'd like to receive this kind of help now since there are extremely stressful times ahead with lots of public speaking.
