I think everyone who stutters has been through the same. Your outlook will get better with time. My best advice is exposure therapy. Go out and force yourself to do things that make you anxious. As much as your anxiety causes you to stutter. It works the other way too. The more you can do it the less anxious you'll be so the less you'll stutter which will decrease your anxiety. Which will decrease your stutter. I've accepted the fact that I'll never not stutter but it's not a defining part of my life now. I just force myself to go through the drive through and talk to people face to face so I'm not anxious about it.
