>*One thing that always struck me as odd/funny is that I don't ever recall stuttering when needing to tell someone that they can fuck right off. Anyone have similar experiences?* Wendell Johnson (researcher) stated that people who stutter (PWS) block because we are holding back speech. **In my opinion**: In this viewpoint, I argue that if you **stop caring about others and stop caring about what or how you say it** (*even with speech errors, tension, anticipatory anxiety*), regardless, you are still not holding back speech and thus it could lead to not blocking. I advocate that this definition of acceptance is more effective (than justifying a stutter program and justifying not breaking the stutter cycle).
